The final stand against the Roman Empire

A history dating from -52 BC to the Middle ages. at one time it considered that the armies of Jules Cesar encircled, beseiged and defeated the Gallic tribes lead by Vercingetorix.

Today there is statue that stands very proud to remind us of Vercingetorix and also a fine archeolgical site of the Roman town.
