Pouillenay

One of our prefered spots on the canal. The small "basin" is a great place to moor and as you are just on the outside of the village things are nice and calm.

Pouillenay is still in a flight of locks, if your heading down stream, you arrive quickly in Veneray les Laumes, however if you're going up stream, it's quite a way to the next town.

If you have transport or are keen cyclist, you can go to the interesting medieval market town of Semur en Auxois.
