You will encounter many different animals along the canal (none of them dangerous). With the dense forest and vast river plains there are many type of wildlife from wild boar to deer. There are also other animals which have adpated to the existance of the canal and resevoirs such as the grey Heron. As farming is still very important for the region you will also see the famous white cattle.
