Information about Chaudenay le Chateau

A wonderful chateau built in 1103 by Jean de Chaudenay. Renovated in the mid 1900s, the castle is now in very good condition. Though not open to the public, it is worth a ride or walk to view this imporessive monument.

The old school is open to visitors, although no longer used by the village children, you can still discover how rural French schools used to be.

There is a very comfortable Gite called "Le Cottage"
