Where to eat and enjoy the local cuisine
The Burgundy region offers some of the finest French cuisine and menus. There are some of the most highly starred tables within a few miles of canal. Just to name a few, how about dinning and enjoying the dishes from the chefs such as Marc Meneau at the Espérance near Vézelay or Bernard Loiseau in the town of Saulieu.
You can also savor the restaurants in the small villages with traditional dishes such as Burgundy Beef and of course the famous snails in garlic butter.
