The Elisabeth is an authentic "Luxemotor barge", these boats have a beautiful curved steel hull which is unique to this design of traditional barges. She has been beautifully restored by craftsman and decorated with style.
The barge is 97′1″ ft (29.6 metres) long and a 16′5″ ft (5 metres) wide, this provides the 6 guests with large comfortable cabins which can be configured as twin or double. The cabins have ensuite, opening windows and "laptop" sized safes.
The barge cruises between the villages of Venarey les Laumes and Tanlay on the Burgundy Canal.
Alternatively, you may prefer to cruise on the nearby Nivernais Canal! Flexibility is our watchword.
Travelling to the barge is very easy via highspeed TGV train from Paris to a nearby station, or why not hire a car at the airport? There are good autoroute connections if you're driving through France and the roads are relatively quiet.
