Pouilly-en-Auxois to Venarey-les-Laumes
Lock 1 Yonne to lock 52 Yonne
From 7th April 2026, you must ask for permission and reserve a "slot" passage in advance to cruise on this section of the canal, whether upstream or downstream.
Navigation in this area will be available on weekdays only, from 9.00 to 11.30 in the morning and from 14.00 to 16.30 in the afternoon, and for a 5-month period (ending in August).
Saone side
The Panthier reservoir is undergoing an important maintenance and improvement program. The work has begun and will continue throughout 2026 into 2027. At present, we do not know of any navigation restrictions between Escommes (Lock 1 Saône) and Saint Jean de Losne (Lock 76 1 Saône).
