At first, you may be disappointed with the village, but you should take some time to explore the old village, the church, and the memorials to the members of the French Resistance killed just before the end of the German occupation.

The village centre is on the other side of the River Ouche, whilst on the canal side, there are just fields and green forest.

It is possible to moor below lock 36 on the left, but due to the erosion, you'll need a long gangplank. If you prefer, you can continue upstream and moor just below lock n°35 on the left in the shade of the trees.
